Big news for us at The 1st Floor Challenge today.
We are very happy to announce an amazing partnership with Startup Pirates @ Lisbon. This partnership provides Startup Pirates @ Lisbon Hardware Edition participants the chance to get in touch with Design Thinking and apply Project Management, PMBOK® and PRiSM™ best practices in an hands-on real-world simulated scenario. Participants will have fun building a drone – quadcopter – from scratch while playing different execution and management activities. This learning activity will be the foundations for the event’s Team Building session. Pirates will engage in an amazing team building activity to better know each other and create strong connections between them.

See you there Pirates!
Recently, we asked our readers to share their questions with us. As a result, we created The 1st Floor Challenge FAQs page with the most common questions, keeping the focus not in the things that we want to say but in things they want answers for.
We want to thank all those who participated in the construction of this page. FAQ section was created with care, and we want to keep this communication channel simple and useful.
Take a look of the result: http://the1stfloorchallenge.com/faqs/
The FAQ page is a valuable part of our website.

On November, 4 2004, Frank P. Saladis founded The international Project Management Day (IPM day). The intention of this day, says Frank Saladis is: to encourage project based organizations worldwide or organizations who utilize project management methodologies to schedule some type of recognition event within their organizations or coordinated locally with others to truly demonstrate appreciation for the achievements of project managers and their teams.
IPM Day is always the first Thursday in November, and this year we decided to celebrate it by giving a special gift to the team who is in the 1st position of “The 1st Floor Challenge” workshop. We prepared this postcards and sent them to commemorate.
Celebrate this wonderful day by submitting one of your successful projects.
Happy IPM’s Day!

We are excited for the upcoming new year opportunities and growth.
As we bethink on a this year work, we are preparing our website to better communicate with all of you. We are thinking to create a place where readers find handy information about their needs.
The challenge is to create a FAQ page that readers will find useful.
In order to find out what questions our readers are “really” asking, we want to encourage everyone to participate in the construction of T1FC´s FAQs in an open way.
How to do it?
- Send your questions to email@example.com. You can write it in your native language.
- The T1FC team selects the top 10 questions, and prepare an answer.
- We verify the answer accuracy in order to ensure the answer addresses the question accurately.
- We create a FAQ page in T1FC website.
And now is our time to ask you some questions.
Do you think it is important to create opportunities for readers to add topics, add questions or rate an answers?
We are thankful for your contributions to our perspectives on learning. We appreciate if you share “You Ask, We Answer!” initiative with your friends. We our excited to answer all your questions!
Why storytelling? Storytelling is part of the learning process. When teaching, we add memorable stories that the group will remember, in order for them to learn through other people’s experiences. Storytelling makes people understand through emotion.
Storytelling is memorable and uplifting, even when we are talking to ourselves.
“Maybe stories are just data with a soul.” – Brené Brown
