Quality is omnipresent. In every company, we must pay attention how do we work and where do we put our resources. But what does really make your company being quality? How can we measure it? I will try to help you find the answer.

Why is so hard to define the quality? Because the quality for everyone has a different level and direction. An example? For some a good quality is a cheap bar with the big portions of food, others to
feel the quality needs the 5* of Michelin, and yet another group will say, the best quality has a kitchen of their grandma. Quality depends on our expectation, and one is sure: those are always going to be higher.
Then are we able to talk about great quality if expectations always grow? Yes. Thus every time when we improve something, we create higher quality. Of course, with a time the quality is dropping, so the answer is: never stop develop. How? I will present it in 6 easy steps.
1) Define your goals
Quality management includes many patches, such an improving processes by reducing waste, efficient customer service or lowering costs. Only you will know what is quality for you and your customers.
2) Analyse past and present
To improve present is not enough to see what we have right now. Compare, find the differences. It will help you to see wrong or maybe good decisions, which you took.
3) Plan how to improve
You know already your goals and situations. Think how to reach your goals, open your mind. Create few scenarios and choose can be best.
Well, I cannot add anything here, just ACT what you have planned!
Measure if your effects are right with your goals and your plan. If yes- well done! No? Then start from the beginning, maybe try smaller steps.
Without repeat previous 5 steps we will not be able to change our quality for better.
But quality exist not only in companies, it has an influence also in our personal lives. Try, do 6 steps above and check how quality you are. We are working for better life, better life makes us motivated to work. We see the great effects. It’s how I call: The Quality Life Cycle!
The most solid basis for developing your business is to create a consistent system. Companies must invest in a consistent process, both in the operational and in the project’s area that allows them to achieve sustainable growth.
We have contact with many companies, some smaller than others, all with many good business ideas. However, we noticed that the fundamental problem is the lack of consistency in organizational processes. There is inconsistency in the relations with staff, with vendors and with clients.
When you think of your company as a whole, and look to the future, your mind creates an idea of how to work. It soon appears, sometimes unconsciously, the need to manage people and process in an integrated way.
But there are a lot of methodologies, a lot of technologies, and a lot of software totally disconnected from each other. The first step is to focus on the future, to learn about what methodologies exist in the market, and especially how these methodologies can be integrated.
These are some questions that you can ask yourself in order to know if your business is in the right way:
Do you know how to integrate strategy, innovation, project management, and sustainability? Do you know how to integrate policies, process and procedures, with project management and operations? Do you know the financial contribution of each project and each operation carried out in your organization?
Please don’t cut costs when it comes to developing your business, the lack of a consistent process can be a key factor in the failure of your organization. Learn, innovate, organize, integrate and grow! Create the future of your business in a sustainable way!
